Additional text includes: “Hear – Norm Hill,” “Assoc. Director, A. Philip Randolph Institute,” “Member, National Committee of the Socialist Party,” “CCNY–YPSL,” “Thurs., Dec. 19,” and “12:15.”

Inscription Notes
“x120164 22” is written in graphite in the upper right-hand corner.

Historical Context
While the flyer is undated, some assumptions can be made. President Richard Nixon introduced the term "Black capitalism" in 1968, a heavily promoted concept heavily criticized by leftists. Norm (Norman) Hill was a Black American administrator, civil rights activist, and labor leader. Hill was active in the Congress of Racial Equality and became the Associate Director at the A. Philip Randolph Institute in 1968.

Condition
The item exhibits vertical rust stains in the upper left-hand corner, likely from a former staple or paperclip. The sheet shows creasing and staining along the edges, consistent with age and handling.
